BCI checks are generally used to check for criminal history for the purpose of employment, medicals school program, volunteer work, licensing, and other settings where screening for criminal record is required. FBI background checks that are performed by the federal government are performed to search for criminal records. Employee or Applicants will need to provide reference code for their background check in their applications. The codes can be accessed using the FBI link below.

What to bring for a background check?

  • Government-issued photo ID:

    This is necessary for verifying your identity. General options include driver's licenses, state IDs, passports, military IDs, or green cards.

  • Address where results need to be sent:
